The droplet sputtering of metal targets by heavy ions is theoretically investigated in a model of subsurface nonlocal thermoelastic peak. Ion energy Е varies from 25 eV to the upper validity range of the model that depends on species and a target material. It is shown that the droplet sputtering of amorphous and crystalline gold (amorphous uranium) by Au+(U+) ions can be observed under certain conditions whereas the droplet sputtering of polycrystalline uranium by U + ions is impossible

In this article the possibility of production of hybrid cobalt-containing nanocomposite catalysts based on carbon nanotubes and alkoxysilanes is shown for electrocatalysts for oxygen reduction in fuel cells as an example. It has been found that addition of cobalt to the silica-carbon nanostructure increases greatly its catalytic activity. It has been shown that the formation of catalytically active composite layer from silica-carbon sol depends on heat treatment conditions and atmosphere.

Киев In this paper the composite electrocatalysts for the reduction of molecular oxygen were synthesized on the basis of oxidized multilayer CNTs, by deposition of metal hydroxides from their chlorides and acetates with subsequent heat treatment in air for the formation on the surface of CNTs of cobalt or nickel oxides. It has been shown that carbon-containing Со3О4 nanoparticles are formed during synthesis, and that with NiO nickel nanosized geterostructures bonded to CNTs are formed. The cobalt-containing electrocatalysts show higher activity as compared to nickel-containing ones.

The experiments on excitation of the microwave torch discharge of erosion type at the end of a single-wire line are described in this paper. It is shown that the energy is transmitted to the discharge via surface Sommerfeld’ wave. Some physical properties of wave processes in the line are described. Possible applications of the microwave torch discharge are discussed.

In this work the alloying components (nickel and molybdenum) effect on the boride layer structure and properties was investigated. The saturation was realized on 20, 45, 38HM steels in powder environment of the composition: boron carbide, molybdenum and nickel containing substances, activators on application of the one phasic and two- phasic temperature factor, As a result steel surface treatment the diffusion layer consisting of boride layer and sublayer doped with Ni and Mo were obtained. Optimal mix design of the Mo and Ni concentrations will create on the steel surface the alloyed boride layer with high wear resistance.

In this work the micromechanical and electrical properties of aluminium after treatment in electrolytic plasma was investigated. It is shown the microhardness is increased and wear resistant is rised in 4 times in all surface treatment of metal. Specific resistance of treated aluminium samples increase in 4-13 times in comparison with untreated samples. In addition the specific resistance changing on diffusion layer in dependend on distribution of impurities concentration (boron, boride phases, alloying species) and dislocations are retraced.

| I NFLUENCE of DEFECT NANOSTRUCTURE CHANGING on RELAXATION PROCESSES in CRYSTALS and ALLOYS

Abstract The interaction between dislocations and impurities influences on the process of plastic deformation SiO2 + Si. GeSi crystal with orientation [111], which periodic mechanical tension is added to, and which is under the combined influence of external electric field and external magnetic field is considered. The method, which is allow to determine from the internal friction (IF) difference of free elastic vibrations on neighboring harmonics f1 and f2 to determine the integral structure defects density Nd, their distribution and the depth of broken layer hb, is offered for undestructive control of structure defects of Si wafer-plates after technological mechanical and thermal treatments. The dislocation density and the depth of broken layer are measured for SiO2 + Si wafer-plates.

Киев In this paper, the solubility of nanopowders of borides and carbides of IV-VIB groups metals, as well as of silicon carbide, in standard nickel plating electrolytes was studied. As objects of investigation, nanopowders with 91,8-97,6% main phase content and 32-78 nm average particle size were used. Their corrosion resistance was investigated depending on the electrolyte acidity, temperature, and exposition duration. It was established that the corrosion resistance characteristics of nanopowders of borides and carbides within each group of compounds in electrolyte solutions are similar and characterized by unlimited period of induction in alkaline media. The exception is silicon carbide nanopowder being stable in solutions of any acidity.

The aim is to create composite coatings on glass surface which are able to selectively reflect and absorb surfaces in the near infrared range. Inorganic oxides, deposited on fine silica, organosilicon film former and nanostructured carbon filler are used. It is shown that coating based on carbon nanotubes and oxides SnO2, In2O3 are promising for obtaining transparent heat-reflective coatings for window glass. Liquid-phase method of synthesis of transparent conductive oxide films is economically expedient. Developed window silica - titanium oxide coatings with addition of polyvinyl alcohol and carbon nanotubes exhibit antireflection effect in the visible range of spectrum and absorption in the near infrared range

| 3D МОДЕЛИРОВАНИЕ ПРОЦЕССОВ ОДНООСНОГО КОМПАКТИРОВАНИЯ ОКСИДНЫХ НАНОПОРОШКОВ

Nanopowders compaction process is simulated by the 3D granular dynamics method. Elastic forces between particles, tangential friction forces, dispersion forces of attraction (Van-der-Waals – Hamaker) and the strong bonds between particles (of chemical nature) are taken into account. Calculations are carried out for tree mono-sized systems: with particle sizes 10, 40, and 100 nm. It is shown that accounting the dispersion forces and the strong bonds between particles allows simulating the size effect in nanopowders compaction: the smaller the particle size the greater pressure, which has to be applied to achieve a density required. For the model systems with 10 and 40 nm of particle size the magnitude of density differences at pressure 100 MPa is comparable with the known experimental data for alumina based nanopowders.
